CREST Caregiver Support Network (CSN)

The Caregiver Community Outreach Team (CREST-Caregivers) focuses on caregivers who have or are at risk of developing depression, anxiety and burn-out due to their caregiving role. The team increases public awareness of caregiving concerns, promotes identification of caregiver needs, supports caregivers in self-care and links caregivers up with support groups and counselling services where needed.
Club HEAL’s CREST Caregiver Support Network (CSN) was launched in April 2021 to support and connect caregivers who are taking care of people with mental health challenges and seniors with dementia.

The Key Objectives of CREST (CSN) are to:
- Provide networking opportunities for caregivers
- Strengthen the relationships of caregivers to empower and help one another
- Increase public awareness of caregivers’ burnout
- Promote recognition of early signs and symptoms of mental health conditions
- Provide emotional support and access to mental health and caregiving resources
- Link caregivers to relevant agencies for further assistance

Benefits of joining the Caregiver Support Network:
- Learning how to prioritise self-care and to look after your needs and wellbeing
- Having access to caregiving resources such as psychoeducation and lesson modules by the Agency for Integrated Care and Health Promotion Board
- Fostering mutual support through sharing and building care network
- Joining fun and meaningful activities with other caregivers
